Want to know more about Go-Go? 

Go-Go music is Washington DC's own sub genre of funk, characterized mainly by relentless percussion and audience participation. The "pocket beat" is the classic swinging go-go beat popularized in the 1970's by Chuck Brown, the "Godfather of Go-Go."
