This Cookie Policy explains how Capital City Symphony uses cookies and similar technologies on capitalcitysymphony.org.

What These Technologies Are

Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, scripts, tags, and identifiers used to operate, protect, remember, measure, or support a website.

Categories and Current Services

Necessary and Security

Squarespace and related website technology support core page delivery, security, forms, and storage of a visitor’s cookie choice. Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the newsletter signup from automated abuse. These technologies operate when needed to provide the website or a feature you request.

Statistics

Google Analytics 4 helps CCS understand visits and website use. Statistics remains active and is not changed by the Marketing choice. Google advertising storage remains denied unless Marketing is accepted.

Marketing

Mailchimp Connected Sites supports the CCS newsletter popup and related connected-site functions. Bloomerang WebsiteVisit supports website-visit information associated with fundraising and supporter relationships. These Marketing technologies load only after you select Accept Marketing.

Connected and External Services

Embedded media, maps, ticketing, donation, merchandise, and other external services may use cookies or similar technologies when their relevant feature loads or when you leave the CCS website. Requested external media remains available regardless of the Marketing choice. Current external destinations include Atlas Performing Arts Center for tickets and subscriptions, Bloomerang Fundraising and its Kindful-branded donation destination, and Bonfire for merchandise. Their own notices apply.

No Meta Pixel is described as active in this Policy because the release evidence did not verify an active CCS deployment. If that changes, CCS will update this Policy after implementation and verification.

Your Choices

The first-visit notice provides equally clear Accept Marketing, Reject Marketing, and Cookie Settings choices. Necessary and Statistics remain active. Marketing is the only visitor-controlled category and remains off unless you select Accept Marketing.

You can later reopen the choice through the persistent Cookie Settings control. A change applies prospectively. Rejecting Marketing does not prevent basic page access, requested external media, or the necessary security checks used for a requested form.

Duration

The website stores the Marketing choice for up to 180 days. Some other technologies last only for a browser session; others remain for a period set by the provider or until you delete them. Google Analytics cookies may remain for up to two years under the provider’s default, although browser limits and later configuration may shorten that period.

Third-Party Services

A third-party provider may process technical and usage information under its own privacy notice when an embedded feature loads, when an accepted Marketing service loads, or when you leave the CCS website for that provider’s service.

Browser Signals

The website honors choices made through Cookie Settings. Other browser signals are handled when required by applicable law and supported by the website’s technology.

Changes and Contact

This Policy will be updated when the technologies, purposes, categories, or controls materially change.
