These Terms apply to capitalcitysymphony.org and the website content and activities presented by Capital City Symphony. By using the website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.
About the Website
The website provides information about CCS concerts, artists, subscriptions, auditions, programs, donations, merchandise, venues, and community activities. Dates, programs, artists, repertoire, locations, availability, and other details may change.
The CCS website does not provide a CCS user account. An external ticketing, donation, store, form, or other provider may require its own account under that provider’s terms.
Tickets and Subscriptions
Current ticket and subscription links lead to Atlas Performing Arts Center. The prices, fees, availability, account requirements, delivery, exchange, cancellation, and refund information shown by Atlas or on the applicable event page control that transaction.
CCS may change a program, artist, repertoire, venue, date, time, format, or other event detail when reasonably necessary. CCS or the ticket provider will communicate available options through the applicable event or transaction channel when reasonably available.
Auditions and Registrations
Submitting an audition, interest, or registration form does not guarantee selection, participation, placement, or availability. The requirements and notices shown for the applicable audition or program also apply.
Donations
Current public donation links include Bloomerang Fundraising (formerly Qgiv) and a Kindful-branded donation destination. Kindful’s donor terms apply to donations completed through that Kindful destination; any additional transaction conditions shown by the selected provider also apply.
A recurring gift remains subject to the controls and support route shown by the applicable donation provider. Contact CCS promptly at execdir@capitalcitysymphony.org about a mistaken donation or a question that cannot be resolved through the provider. Any correction or refund is subject to applicable law, provider capabilities, and the circumstances of the request.
Merchandise
The website links to an external Bonfire store. Bonfire’s Terms and Conditions apply to checkout, fulfillment, returns, and other transactions completed there unless the store expressly states otherwise.
Acceptable Use
You may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, submit unlawful or infringing material, or use automated means in a way that burdens the site or violates another person’s rights.
Intellectual Property
CCS or the applicable rights holder owns or licenses the website text, graphics, logos, photographs, audio, video, and other materials. You may view public pages and share ordinary links for personal, noncommercial purposes. Other copying, modification, republication, distribution, performance, sale, or commercial use requires permission or an applicable legal exception.
Submissions
You must have the right to provide information submitted through a CCS form. CCS may use a private submission as reasonably necessary to review it and respond to or administer the relevant activity. CCS does not obtain a public-content license merely because you send a private inquiry or form.
Third-Party Services
An external provider’s own terms govern the part of a ticket, donation, merchandise, form, media, or other service that provider independently supplies. A link does not make the provider’s terms CCS’s Terms.
Availability, Disclaimer, and Liability
The website is provided as available. CCS works to keep information accurate but does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, or an independent third party’s performance.
To the extent permitted by law, CCS is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of the website or an independent third-party service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing Law and Questions
These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Before starting a formal dispute concerning the website, contact CCS at execdir@capitalcitysymphony.org so the issue can be reviewed.
Changes to These Terms
The current version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Transaction- or event-specific changes will be communicated through the applicable event, provider, or transaction channel.
