• Prior stage management and/or orchestra experience helpful but not required.
• Set-up for concerts and dress rehearsals, liaison with Atlas tech staff and front-of-house, back-stage management during concerts, attend pre-concert production meetings as needed.
• 2011-2012 Concert dates:  Sunday afternoons 10/15, 11/20, 12/4 (2 performances), 3/18, 5/13 (plus dress rehearsals the Saturday morning prior to each concert).
• PAID position, minimal time commitment.

The Capital City Symphony has an opening for a Fundraising Intern for the Fall 2011 semester (September-December). The Fundraising Intern will work with the General Manager to organize and run large and small fundraising events, including an online auction, restaurant events and our second annual Chamber Music Jam. He/she will also maintain the development calendar, which includes tracking fundraiser information and grant applications.

This is a part-time internship, with an average of 10-12 hours a week split between the CCS office and event-related projects. Attendance at events is required, and the internship will include some evening and weekend hours. This is an unpaid internship. CCS is willing to work with applicants to tailor the internship to meet requirements for academic credit.
