Venue change for concert on Sunday, May 13

Dear Friends of Capital City Symphony,

Due to an emergency building repair, the Atlas Performing Arts Center will need to close this Sunday, May 13.  Therefore, the final concert of our season has a NEW location and will take place at The Church of the Epiphany, located at 1317 G Street NW in D.C. The concert date and time remain the same - this Sunday, May 13 at 5pm!

We truly apologize for the inconvenience.  The Church of the Epiphany is a beautiful performance venue, and we do hope you will join us there! If you have already purchased tickets for Sunday's concert, you will be contacted directly by the Atlas Box Office regarding the venue change. Your ticket will be transferred to this new location. If you are unable to attend the concert at the new venue, the Atlas Box Office will issue a refund.

The exciting conclusion to our 50th anniversary season will be an exploration of global and cultural identity as expressed through Shostakovich's powerful Symphony No. 5, Russell Peck's Peace Overture, Arturo Marquez' Danzón No. 2, and Joan Tower's Made in America.  If you have not yet purchased tickets, you may do so now via Capital City Symphony's website here

The Church of the Epiphany is easily accessible via metro and is half a block from the Metro Center stop.  If you plan to drive, PMI Garage is located on G Street directly to the left of the church.  There is also street parking, subject to availability.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday at this new location!

All best,
Capital City Symphony Staff and Board of Directors
